Microcartography

This is an ongoing collection of my hand-drawn maps. While the geographies are imaginary, they are inspired by real maps, real urban forms, real experiences. I also hope to explore a wide range of representational techniques by playing with stroke width, color, patterns, schematization, shading, offsetting etc. Some maps are accompanied by a specific narrative, others leave room for the viewer to construct a narrative.
