Here at inat mapping and wayfinding, we are working with a Swiss company called Hitouch which has developed software (geo.zpheres.com) that can turn geo-localized transit data into schematic maps. To showcase our capabilities, we decided to create beautiful, data-empowered maps for Swiss cities. An analysis of existing maps in Switzerland showed significant stylistic similarities between cities, thus leading us to merge them all into a common graphic standard while maintaining the Swiss feel that they all share.
